Simple and involving, this wine is an expression of our gratitude to the land.

The Pinot Noir variety is amused, cherished by the richness of the soils of Beja and Alentejo heat.

A wine that presents, in a renewed style, a light salmon colour and fresh floral aroma. On the mouth, it’s fresh, light and persistent.

Herdade da Figueirinha

Filipe Ramos

The promise of land captured the heart and will of a grandfather and a grandson. Two men, one passion: the culture of wine and olive oil in that patch of land.

The Figueirinha Estate, acquired in 1998 by Commander Leonel Cameirinha and, under the current management of his grandson Filipe Cameirinha Ramos, unites three generations around the land, the farming and the passion for the culture of wine and olive oil.

The Fig (Figueirinha) is considered the tree of generosity and plenitude, with protective, fertile and regenerative capacities. Symbol of warmth and of the Mediterranean, it generously concedes its name to the Estate and shadow to its people.

The Estate is characterized by 300 ha of plains colored by the culture of sunflower, corn and almond, but it’s the vineyards and olive groves, the true love of this project.

The project embraces the ecosystem, with a philosophy of integrated production, with resource optimization and environmental protection. It cultivates, today, the nature that’s expected to be found in the future, sustainable and in full harmony.

Typical Alentejo blend with an hint of "Frenchiness"

An unusual blend of the Portuguese grape Aragonez with the more well known Cabernet Sauvignon and Syrah. A dark fruity wine with low acidity and smooth tanins. At a great price, it is quickly becoming my goto red wine.

Fresh and Dry. Perfect for hot days

The Verdegar is fruity with low acidity and a little sparkling. Excellent "green" for its price. It's a great wine for a pleasant summer day.
